About Jordan:
Jordan Carr, AKA PhotosyntheSIS, is a Chicago-based plant loving wife and mother. She has always loved plants and enjoyed being in her grandmother’s lush garden. Spending time with Jordan’s grandmother brought her so much joy. She found wonder in the process of a plant or vegetable growing from a small little seed.
Over time, she had to reconnect with her love for plants as an adult. When she found myself in a state of depression, after the birth of her son, and death of her beloved grandmother, she struggled with finding a way to feel better. She dove deep into her love for plants, went to therapy, and found herself on the other side of depression, with a solid self-care routine through plant care. To this day, every time she is caring for her plants, she can feel her grandmother guiding her and sending her love just as she did when Jordan was a little girl. She wants to share this love she has found with the world, so she has created her brand with her grandmother in mind. Everything on Jordan’s platform is created to encourage self-love by reconnecting with the sun.
